Golden Star Ferries launched its activities in Greek shipping in 2011, in the Rafina-Andros-Tinos-Mykonos line, with daily departures which continuing until today, offering high quality services, creating the guarantees for new data in the way of travel and contributing to the overall development of the islands.
Based in Rafina, a port with high development in the last years, due to its in a close distance from the Athens International airport, Eleftherios Venizelos, Golden Star Ferries expands the destinations during the summer period with daily calls to Tinos, Mykonos, Paros, Naxos, Ios and Santorini.
In 2016 Golden Star Ferries added to its fleet a luxurious and modern vessel the F/B Superferry, which after her full renovation has upgraded the standards in shipping transportation and dominated in Cyclades Lines.
Despite the times and highly competitive climate, we managed to consolidate our presence in Greek coastal shipping, working methodically and with dedication. Our efforts and so far, contribution was recognized by the Lloyd’s International Organization with the award of the Passenger Line of the Year 2017.
As the need to offer is intense, we have upgraded our existing services and added Superexpress an ultra-luxurious and largest catamaran ferries in Greece, so that the Golden Star Ferries ships are the best choice for travelers.
